Xinjiang lake reopens to fishing
As the Bosten, an inland freshwater lake in northwestern China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region reopened to fishing on June 21 after a 100-day fishing ban, fishermen netted in six tons of fish in one go. Dozens of fishermen stood on their boats and chanted their fishing chantey while pulling the 1,000-meter-long net out of the lake, with numerous fish jumping in the net.
