The team is focusing on HW integration and verification activities in mobile communication Multi Radio Base Station development. We are looking for an experienced R&D Engineer to strengthen our team and to drive the introduction of new technologies currently being introduced to the mobile communication market. Introduction of new technologies with major technical impact requires skilled dedicated R&D Resources working in a highly interesting and challenging field of activity. Position Description Definition, organization, and execution of versatile HW integration and verification tasks in the area of mobile communication Multi Radio Base Station development. You will drive the introduction of new technologies, define test requirements and corresponding test strategies. Close cooperation with product definition and design teams is vital and ensures overall alignment of corresponding test strategies - Experienced engineer in HW integration and verification - Provide competence for the introduction of new technologies - Definition of appropriate test requirements and corresponding test strategies - Development of test concepts including required cooperation with other entities - HW Interface and Layer 1 Integration - Responsible for the comprehensive test setups including related custom test tools - Programming of automated test sequences Position Requirements Position requirements - Diploma / Master in Electronic Engineering / Telecommunications / Physics or comparable education level - Several years of relevant experience, but also highly motivated newcomers with the appropriate background will be considered - Knowledge of cellular and broadband access technologies such as 3G, LTE, GSM - Wide background covering Ethernet, RF, digital interfaces, and mobile communication technologies, standards, and protocols - Fluent English, both spoken and written Personal Attributes: excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team - Ability to analyze complex problems and work on adequate solutions - Team Player, excellent co-operation and communication skills - Willingness to perform and highly motivated - Creative and reliable, takes initiative - Willing to accept responsibility - Committed to continuing education - Intercultural competence Are you ready to be part of a company that is changing the way we communicate around the world?
