Advanced Specialist Planning HVB Controls Corporate Division Powertrain Division, located in Shenyang/China Employment – full time Tasks To support HVB project in all areas of equipment control process. To design, specify, deliver, maintain and improve control systems and first level of management executing systems for engine manufacturing processes & equipment ensuring the agreed project targets are achieved. Key Responsibility · Design and maintain all processes of controls and manufacturing executive systems. · Part of controls on Machine and Equipment design, modification & specifications. Development of robust manufacturing processes to deliver project targets. · Project budget requirements and spend. · Project development and team organization. Lead and participate in cross-functional working teams 3 -5 people. · Target development and implementation. · Process and equipment development and modification. Contractor/Supplier selection. · Problem solving solutions. Escalation issues. · Financial versus technical evaluations. Create proposals for the approval of necessary funding. · Management of Machine and Equipment suppliers. Qualification · University degree / graduated in engineering (automotive/engine) · Proven ability in control, machining, assembly or test processes. · Experience of high volume manufacturing processes preferably within the automotive industry. · Project management skills. · Highly developed communication skills · Team and individual development, management and leadership · Knowledge of process control techniques and gauging methods. · English and German language skills · Application of industrial engineering techniques, Statistical process control, Jig and tool design. · Experience of working both cross-function and internationally · Knowledge of BMW and BBA China business processes · Experience in controls project management
