'共和国勋章'人选:钟南山

8月3日，党和国家功勋荣誉表彰工作委员会办公室发布消息，由于在抗击新冠肺炎疫情斗争中作出杰出贡献，著名传染病专家、中国工程院院士、国家呼吸系统疾病临床医学研究中心主任钟南山成为今年"共和国勋章"的建议人选；

TheyareZhangBoli, alsoamemberoftheChineseAcademyofEngineeringandpresidentofTianjinUniversityofTraditionalChineseMedicine; ZhangDingyu, deputydirectorofHubeiProvincialHealthCommissionandpresidentofWuhanJinyintanHospital; andChenWei, aresearcherattheAcademyofMilitaryMedicalSciences.
除钟南山外，中国工程院院士，天津中医药大学校长张伯礼、湖北省卫生健康委员会副主任，武汉市金银潭医院院长张定宇、军事科学院研究员陈薇也因在抗击新冠肺炎方面做出的贡献成为今年国家荣誉称号建议人选。
