ChinaandtheUSshouldexpandmutuallybeneficialcooperationinallfields. ChinahopesthattheUSwillworkwithChinatofosterenablingconditionsfortheimplementationofthephaseonetradeagreement. TheUSmuststopbullyingChinesecompanies, andprovideafair, openandnon-discriminatoryenvironmentfortheiroperationandinvestment. Thetwosidesneedtoexpandexchangesandcooperationinenergy, lawenforcementandcounter-narcoticsaswellassub-nationalcooperationandpeople-to-peopleexchanges. Thetwomilitariesneedtoenhanceexchangesandmakefulluseoftheconfidence-buildingmechanismstomakethemil-to-milrelationshipastabilizingfactorinbilateralrelations. ThetwosidesshouldalsoengageinclosecoordinationandcooperationontheKoreanPeninsula, Afghanistan, theMiddleEast, cyber-security, climatechange, publichealthandotherinternationalandregionalissues, sothattheChineseandAmericanpeopleandthewholeworldcanbenefitmorefromcooperationamongChina, theUSandothercountries.
要维护中美关系的民意基础。中美人民友谊蕴含了几十年来两国人民的无数心血，值得我们倍加呵护。美国一些反华势力滥用“国家安全”概念，蓄意阻挠中美正常交往，刻意误导美国民众，企图给两国关系造成不可逆的破坏。美国各界有识之士深知维护中美关系和两国人民友谊的重要性，纷纷站出来对反华势力的倒行逆施表明反对立场。中美两国人民的友好往来不是一些美国政客的政治操弄可以隔断的。中方欢迎更多美国各界人士来华亲身感受真实的中国，将继续鼓励和支持两国人民开展教育、科技、文化、体育、青年、媒体等各领域交流合作。
